Our Black Belt of Karate instructors go through an extensive selection process to insure we have only the best and most talented instructors in the world. Once selected, they are put through an intense and rigorous series of training colleges to guarantee the quality of instruction which our students receive. Once a Black Belt of Karate instructor is certified to teach our unique and effective system, they are then required to receive both continuing martial arts training and yearly instructor training. Our Certified Master Instructors hold black belts from the World Moo Duk Kwan General Federation in Korea, and have been practicing for ten years.
On-going training allows our instructors to stay up to date on the latest and most effective self-defense techniques, teaching methods, and exercise science. Our re-certification process is our assurance that every Black Belt of Karate student will continue to receive only the very best in martial arts training. Black Belt of Karate instructors are professionals, we are experts in what we do. We expect our instructors to be the best, so you can expect the best from our instructors.
Each student is treated with respect, and is trained to the best of their own ability and potential. A student is never compared to anyone else. All of our instructors are highly motivated and care about the proper instruction of each and every student. All techniques are shown, broken down and taught in a slow, controlled, and most importantly supervised environment, until instructors feel the student has mastered the technique.

All classes are run by fully qualified Master Instructors, Certified Instructors and Assistant Instructors. Black Belt of Karate Family Martial Arts Centres are the only Tang Soo Do Group in Canada to employ fully qualified full time instructors who have successfully completed the Certified Instructor Training Programme. Every year, each instructor spends 100 hours on teacher training, to ensure that our members receive the best possible tuition and mentoring experience.
We have a child protection policy. Our instructors are CRB checked and we are fully insured. We are recognised by the Canada Revenue Agency as a Prescribed Program of Physical Activity.
